Specific projects

As Senior Publications Editor for Early Childhood Australia (ECA) I:

  • manage the quarterly core publications Research in Practice Series and Everyday Learning Series targeted at early childhood educators
  • work with academics, authors, reviewers and content editors across Australia
  • edit and proofread manuscripts, provide directions to the design team and handle post-production work (including printer proofs)
  • project-managed the Australasian Journal of Early Childhood (AJEC) from 2017 to 2019, before it was outsourced to SAGE Publications
  • edit, proofread and project-manage special publications
  • edit ECA Studio projects for external clients, such as ACECQA, NOFASD and the Victorian government
  • edit corporate materials: government submissions, communications documents, policy documents, blog posts, marketing materials, media releases and event literature
  • edit professional learning courses for the ECA Learning Hub.
