About our organisation

Canberra Society of Editors (CSE) has been actively promoting the profession of editing in the ACT region since the early 1990s. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the profession, with four levels to suit your editing experience and needs.

CSE is a registered incorporated association in the ACT. We are run by a committee of office bearers and general committee members who are elected by the membership at the society's annual general meeting. All members of CSE are invited and encouraged to join the management committee, although we note that only Full Professional Members and Honorary Life members can vote on motions and fill office-bearing positions.
